2024 Assistant Coach

A 2016 graduate of Pickerington Central, Kat was a four year starter and captain for the Tigers earning First Team All-State, All-Region and All-OCC Honors in addition to several school records. Kat is currently a midfielder for Capital University where she started every game in her career. She has earned All-Region, All-Conference and Conference Player of the Week honors. She is setting program records for goals, ground balls, and caused turnovers in a single season as she progresses in her college career! Kat is excited to share her experiences with the up and coming Ohio Youth through coaching.

2024 Head Coach

Francine is a native of Northeast Ohio and played at Lake Catholic High School. After graduating, she went on to play at Wittenberg University, where she played center. She was a four-year starter who garnered Third Team-All American, Academic All-American, and NCAC Conference Player of the Year honors throughout her career. Francine has coached at middle school, and high school levels along with refereeing. Her favorite aspects of coaching is helping players deepen their knowledge of the game and a true passion for the sport.

2023 Head Coach

Caroline is a Cincinnati Ohio native and played at Anderson High School where she led her team to win three consecutive State Championships. She was a 2-time 1st Team All-State, 3-time 1st Team All-League and 2-time voted MVP. Caroline went on to play for Wittenberg University and graduated in 2014. From there she began coaching at Thomas Worthington High School in 2015, where she is currently the JV Coach. Caroline stated as an Assistant Coach with the Lucky Lax Program in Summer 2016 and moved to Head Coach in the Summer of 2018 with the 2023 Team. Caroline enjoys to give back to the sport that has given her so much, including some of the greatest friendships. She enjoys watching players grow to be the best they can be on and off the field! This is Caroline’s 2nd year with the 2023 Team!

2022 Assistant Coach

Cecelia (Chich) was born in Annapolis, MD and moved to Columbus OH in 2007. Identifying as a Columbus native, Chich played at Thomas Worthington High School where she went to the Final Four in 2009. At Thomas Worthington, Chich was voted Best Offensive Player in 2010. She attended The Ohio State University, where she played club, reaching the 2014 WCLA Nationals and made it to the Final Four. Chich is the JV Coach at Thomas Worthington, and is working to be a teacher in the Columbus area.

2022 Head Coach

As a Baltimore, Maryland native, Brittney attended Century High School playing varsity for 4 years. In 2006, Brittney committed to The Ohio State University, playing attack for the Buckeyes. At OSU, she was a 2x Regional All-American, and holds two school records (Most Goals in a Half, and Most Points in a half. Brittney has worked for Lucky Lax since 2011, where she started coaching indoor. She has also worked with the 2014 and 2017 Teams. She has a great passion for the games, and loves to watch players develop as players and people! This is Brittney’s 3rd year with the 2022 Team!

2021 Head Coach

A Columbus, Ohio native Kendall went to Thomas Worthingon High School where she was a 4-Year letter winner and started in every game. A midfielder in High School, Kendall transitioned to defense in college where she played all four years for Top-10 Nationally ranked University of Louisville. Kendall is currently the Head Varsity Coach for Dublin Jerome High School where she enjoys seeing players grow on and off of the field. This is Kendall’s second year with the 2021 Team.

2020 Assistant Coach

Molly Berend is an Ohio native, and a Lucky Lax 2017 alumnus. At New Albany High School, Molly was a senior captain earning First Team All-Region Honors, as well as two-time First Team All OCC. She led her team to State Championships in 2016 and 2017, before heading off to Florida Southern College to continue her career. Molly is a left handed attacker, passionate to share her love and knowledge of the game and developing young players.

2020 Head Coach

Bill Wolford, a 2015 inductee of the Ohio Chapter of US Lacrosse Hall of Fame, graduated from The Ohio State University in ’80 has years of experience, and knowledge in the lacrosse community. Bill is currently the Girls’ Assistant Varsity Coach at Worthington Kilbourne HS, leading his team to be Division II State Champions. Bill was also an assistant coach with the Ohio Machine of the MLL. Bill teaches in the Worthington School district, and has two daughters that are lacrosse players – Jackie Wolford, and Margaret Wolford.
